In a press release, the Rock County Sheriff's Office said 32-year-old Joseph A. Jakubowski, is wanted by authorities after a series of incidents that took place on Tuesday.
District Administrator Mark Elworthy said police notified the school district at 1:55 p.m. about an upset parent who meant to visit the middle school, 401 S. Elizabeth St. Schools were locked down.
Jakubowski has had several run-ins with law enforcement over the years.
"I was kind of concerned myself for everybody else around me", Franklin said.
