Moto tablet with productivity mode rumored to be in the works

And according to a screenshot it received from a source, the tablet isn't just another run-of-the-mill 10-inch affair with a metal-and-glass build. Its 5.5-inch diagonal and 1080 x 1920 resolution remain static from year-to-year, most likely because Motorola needed to ensure that all of the MotoMods maintain compatibility with the newer Z-series devices.

Android Police reports that the Lenovo-owned Motorola is now building a tablet that may have a "premium feel" and bring in a new feature that could certainly catch some attention.

Lastly, the Weibo leaker can't confirm if the OnePlus 5 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Kumamoto technology believes the internal storage will be 128 GB at least.

It appears to be a feature for quick and easy switching between apps that can be simply done by tapping the icon in the navigation bar. If Motorola makes it an affordable product, the Android tablet will have a great selling point, Android Authority reported.

Motorola is no stranger to the tablet market, but it's been many years since it waded into that pool. Granted, Motorola's Productivity mode could be an experimental feature on a prototype device that never sees the light of day, but it's intriguing to see manufacturers still thinking about tablets.

Long pressing the app icon and dragging it upwards will reportedly close the app. The recently launched Moto G5 and G5 Plus are doing pretty well in the industry and the company has also been one of the best in providing android updates.
