Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Teddy Bridgewater (knee) is "progressing as well as anybody could expect".

Zimmer said he has an eye examination on June 5 and hopes he will be cleared to resume his coaching duties.

Zimmer told reporters on a conference call Friday that "one eye or two, it doesn't matter".

Linebackers coach Adam Zimmer, the coach's son, and defensive line coach Andre Patterson have been relaying information from him to coaches and players during this week's OTAs.

Zimmer also noted that the doctor in Cincinnati gave his good feedback on the progress of his eye. The doctors have told me, because I asked them one time "is this a lost cause?" He's done a good job with understanding the routes and things like that. If it is, let's just let it go.' He said, 'No, it's not like that. Training camp begins on June 13.

"Obviously I've thought about it, but this is not going to keep me from coaching one way or another", Zimmer said.
