The agent of Alvaro Morata, Juanma Lopez, confirmed that United have offered his client.

Morata has emerged as United's first-choice target for a new forward after their pursuit of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid ended, following the upholding of the Spanish club's transfer ban this summer.

"It's a great club, a very interesting option".

Morata has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with United.

"[If we said yes?] All I can say is that their offer is very, very important so now it's down to Real Madrid. I can not say [if the deal is close to completion] - we will see", Lopez told Calciomercato.

The same report also claims that United will agree a fee with Real for the transfer of the player, which is believed to be around €80m (£70.6m, $89.6m) including bonuses and various other clauses.
