Avis teams up with Waymo on self-driving car program

Avis Budget Group Inc.'s agreement with Waymo will have to servicing and maintaining the latter's fleet of self-driving vehicles. The partnership will make it easier for Waymo to grow its current test ridership program. Avis will clean the cars, as well as perform regular maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and installing ordinary replacement parts.

Waymo has not disclosed how numerous 100 initial Chrysler vehicles are in the early-rider program, which is only in Phoenix.
