Eastbourne 2017: Novak Djokovic eases into final by beating Daniil Medvedev

Djokovic won the Eastbourne International beating Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-4 in the final, his first title since Janaury and his third in a year.

Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna and Andre Sa of Brazil were beaten 6-7 (4), 6-4, 10-3 by the top-seeded Bryan twins, Bob and Mike of the USA, in the doubles final.

Novak Djokovic said rediscovering the winning feeling on Saturday when he scored his first tournament success since January had provided the flawless preparation for the Wimbledon Championships.

Djokovic set about putting Monfils under pressure right away and was rewarded with a break in the first game of the match.
