Captain of the Indian women's cricket team, Mithali Raj created a world record Wednesday by becoming the first player to cross 6,000 runs in the history of women's ODI during the World Cup match against Australia here. The India captain became the highest One-Day International run-scorer and the first woman past 6000 runs in the format. She scored 214 runs and that inning was the highest ever individual Test score at the time, a record surpassed only by Pakistan's Kiran Baluch in 2004. It has been 18 years and she is an unstoppable force in the women's cricket world and breaking records like no other has.

He congratulated Mithali but posted Poonam Raut's pic.

Umbrella-sharing company reports almost 300000 stolen
And it might just be cheaper in the long run for people to simply buy their own umbrellas and try not to forget them at home. E Umbrella launched back in April and charges customers almost $3 for the umbrella deposit and $0.07 every 30 minutes.

Despite messages like these, Mithali's message to her players was stern: that if the team continued to play the way it did against South Africa (lost by 115 runs) and Australia (lost by 8 wickets), India can not make it to the semifinals. India has to win this match to make it to the semi-finals.Hopefully, India will get its act together in Saturday's match against the Kiwis.

Mooney and Bolton helped Australia score 57 in the first 15 overs before the latter was sent packing by Poonam Yadav in the next over when she was caught behind after getting a bottom edge. In partnership with the aggressive Perry (both of whom stepped out to attack the spinners), Lanning took Australia to a win and sealed a semi-final spot with 29 balls to spare and eight wickets in hand. She scored nine centuries and 46 half-centuries during her career, her highest being an unbeaten 173 against Ireland. "Playing for a stronger side with more players to stand up and win games, it gives you the freedom to play your shots and you don't have to think about what happens if you get out", Mithali told Espncricinfo.

She took her third four-wicket haul as Sri Lanka was bowled out for 101, while South Africa made that in 23.1 overs for the loss of just two wickets. From time-to-time, she resorted to sweeping against the turn and bringing out the delicate paddles to keep the runs ticking. She was eventually undone by Beams off her bowling. Mithali Raj, who is often referred as Sachin Tendulkar of Indian Women's Cricket, made her debut at the age of 16. She is looking for redemption in this year's World Cup and the team has performed well so far.
