FDA Seeks to Reduce Nicotine in Cigarettes to Nonaddictive Levels

The Food and Drug Administration on Friday announced a new plan that would significantly lower nicotine levels in cigarettes so that they're no longer addictive.

"The FDA plans to begin a public dialogue about lowering nicotine levels in combustible cigarettes to non-addictive levels through achievable product standards".
