Dukes of Hazzard's Tom Wopat Arrested After Groping Woman

Law enforcement arrested Wopat Wednesday just before 1 p.m. The warrant involved a charge of "indecent assault and battery on a person over 14".

"Dukes of Hazzard" star Tom Wopat was arrested and charged Wednesday night in MA for indecent assault and cocaine possession.

Wopat, who's from NY, inappropriately touched the woman on July 23, prosecutors alleged. He did not comment upon leaving court.

Wopat, 65, was arrested in his vehicle, said a statement from the Waltham, Mass., Police Department. She said he made other female cast members feel uncomfortable too, police said.

Police later arrested Wopat, 65, pulling him over in his Ford Bronco after actively searching for his whereabouts.

Wopat apparently denied the accusations and angrily stormed out, after which police were called. Officers said they also found a small amount of cocaine in his possession. He said he flirts but did "nothing that could be considered inappropriate".
