Lunar eclipse serves as prelude to much-anticipated solar eclipse

In just two weeks a solar eclipse will be passing its way through North America and right here in South Jersey.

So the great starry guardians of the heavens are being activated in the coming lunar cycle, starting with an eclipse of the star of kings, and fulfilling with the Moon blocking out the star known as the "light of heaven".

The lunar eclipse will start at around 10.52 p m on the night of August 7 and will continue till 00.48 a m IST.
