Safety barrier collapsed during the League 1 match between Amiens and Lille in France's Amiens injuring 25 fans, four of them seriously.
Plenty of Lille fans had made the relatively short trip to Amiens, and the small away section was completely full.
Television pictures showed dozens of fans falling onto the pitch, and the match was suspended following a security meeting.

An update from Lille's official Twitter account on Sunday said: "Six people are still hospitalised this Sunday morning, but the news is reassuring".
The local prosecutor said he had opened an investigation into the incident.
"Lille hopes the cause of this accident is quickly identified, for our fans and the victims and that this never happens again".

Prince Harry of Wales was in attendance at the Invictus Games, and was engrossed in the action while talking to his friend. According to reports, the little girl was two-year-old Emily Henson, the daughter of Invictus games athlete Dave Henson .
It remains to be seen what action will be taken following the events at Stade de la Licorne.
