How someone stole a family's Christmas Grinch

The call led a dispatcher to post about the 911 call on Facebook, according to the Clarion Ledger, which caught the attention of a fellow Grinch fan, officer Lauren Develle, who decided to make a personal stop to TyLon's house and keep his home safe from any Christmas theft. Watch for that little Grinch.

Officer Lauren Develle and TyLon Pittman, who called 911 on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, to make sure the Grinch did not steal his Christmas. But that didn't stop TyLon from offering up his assistance in the meantime. He described the nasty Grinch, and said that he was anxious he was really going to steal Christmas. "The look on his face was so serious".

The two exchanged quips during the interview and when Harry admitted that he was nervous, Obama then offered to be the interviewer instead.

The boy added: 'I want y'all to come back to my house and take him to jail'. "I won't let that happen", Develle told TyLon.

"He steals everybody's Christmas!" the wise youngster warned. "Because the Grinch is gonna steal Christmas, okay?"

In another post, the boy shows the video evidence of the Grinch stealing the presents to the officer.

TyLon Pittman, 5, locks up the Grinch at Byram Police Department after "arresting" him Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, for attempting to steal Christmas. According to the Clarion Ledger, Pittman called the police department last Saturday unbeknownst to the rest of his family after learning on the internet about the green fiend and his motives.

He arrived at the station, greeted by Develle and Byram Police Chief Luke Thompson, who led him to a holding cell in the back.

TyLon told her he had seen a video of the Grinch on his phone, and showed it to her. Develle took down Pittman's "report" about the Grinch.
