Reliance Jio launches Happy New Year 2018 plans high data benefits

Now, Reliance Jio subscribers are set to get a new year treat as the telecom giant is set to launch two new prepaid plans with bigger benefits.

With these new plans, Jio has just raised the bar for incumbent operators.

Prepaid- The first affordable pack that the company offers is at Rs 309 in which the subscribers get 4G high speed data, 1 GB per day followed by 64 kbps after exhausting the limit, along with free unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls across all the operators.

The ₹199 plan comes with 28 days of validity with 1 GB LTE data per day + free voice and video calls (unlimited).

At present, Jio plan priced at Rs 149 comes with 28 days validity but offers only 4 GB data during the validity period along with 300 SMSes.

Rs 509 pack is named "Super Plan" and has the same benefits but is valid up to 84 days. As mentioned before, all plans come with free voice calling, national roaming, SMS, and access to Jio's services for Prime members. All calls are free in this plan. Both the plans have a validity of 28 days. And it will be interesting to see how Airtel, Idea Cellular, and Vodafone India reacts to these two plans from Jio.

The new plans are mainly targeted at tech-savvy users who often end up consuming their 1GB daily data cap. However, customers who demand more data usage (over 1 GB) can avail these two plans. The Rs. 399 pack also offers up to 100 free SMS messages per day.
