At that point, some colder air will start working its way in from the west causing the rain to mix with and possibly change over to snow before coming to an end prior to sunrise on Friday.
Expect the snow we're seeing to wrap up by late morning, around 10 or 11 a.m.
In Wicomico and Somerset counties, rain showers are likely before 4 a.m. Thursday night into Friday, according to the National Weather Service, but snow will pick up then.
Any new snow would be under an inch, with a half inch falling Thursday and a half inch falling Friday, the weather service said.
