Jim Carrey Shares 'Monstrous' Painting of Sarah Sanders

A spokeswoman for Carrey confirmed the artwork is his painting, but would not confirm whether the image is of Sanders.

"This is a portrait of a so-called Christian whose only objective in life is to lie for the wicked", writes Carrey in the accompanying caption without mentioning Huckabee Sanders by name.

There was plenty of negative reaction to Carrey's tweet.

Carrey previously discussed his love of painting in a documentary short called I Love Color, explaining how the art form helped him to heal during hard times in his life.
