LeBron James of Cleveland Cavaliers played with significant hand injury

Posted June 09, 2018

After the Cleveland Cavaliers lost the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors on June 8, LeBron James, 33, revealed that he played the last three games with a right hand injury.

The Warriors completed their four victories in four games in the Finals to win their third title in four years, after they won 108-85 in Cleveland.

Curry, who had the awful Game 3 after a record-setting Game 2, when he nailed a Finals all-time best nine 3-pointers, left the Cavaliers crowd muttering when he ended the half with a long 3-pointer to stake the Warriors to a 61-52 lead.

Durant, of course, has won the last two Finals MVP awards, taking the honor away from Curry with two incredible performances, including a playoff career high 43 points in Game 3 of this series.

Warriors: Curry made a 3-pointer in his record 90th consecutive postseason game and extended his mark for 3s in road playoff games to 44. The Warriors haven't been at their absolute best in this series but they proved they can still win even if Curry shoots one of 10 from the three-point line.

LeBron James says he "pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand" after injuring himself in frustration after Game 1 of the NBA Finals. If the Rockets had Chris Paul for Game 6 or Game 7 of that series - if Paul's hamstring hadn't betrayed him at the worst possible time - then the Warriors could very well be on vacation right now.

Upset with Rajinikanth's statement over the Cauvery row, a Karnataka film body banned the release of the film earlier this month. He also appealed to the state film chambers in Kannada.

And they are having more than their share of fun along the way. "It's just a testament to his character and who he is as a person and as a player".

At times, LeBron's weak supporting cast appeared to drive him mad. This is a man who averaged a league-leading 36.9 minutes per game this season and carried his team to a Finals appearance that was anything but guaranteed. "They can make plays".

"It's just about the journey, all season", Durant said.

A James slam dunk capped a 14-4 Cavs run to open the second quarter, putting Cleveland ahead 39-38, but Golden State answered with a 11-4 run and stretched the half-time lead to 61-52.

Kevin Durant's decision to join the Warriors received a lot of scrutiny, but his time in Golden State has been an outright success.

Not wanting to give the Cavs or their fans any hope despite the fact that no team has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit in the National Basketball Association playoffs, the Warriors built a nine-point halftime lead when Curry ignored a closeout by James and dropped a 3-pointer. They were a ideal 16-of-16 from the stripe and handed out 25 assists on 39 made baskets. This time it was Durant's Warriors doing the sweeping.

'Wonder Woman 2': Geoff Johns Teases "WW84"
Johns is also collaborating with Jenkins and Dave Callaham on the film's screenplay. The sequel's villain is Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig .

By Golden State standards, this ride was downright bumpy.

"That has been out Achilles' heel the entire year, and they have been great in the third quarter", said Kevin Love.

"They're going to come out just gunslinging".

The biggest question here that I don't think people are noticing is how long is it going to take before James actually sees this tweet?

'For me, I still have so much to give to the game, ' James said. The next closest players are Larry Bird and Tim Duncan with 21 apiece. What will LeBron James do next?

"Our season was kind of the unknown". "I was there in the Hamptons (at the Durant recruiting session) when we had that discussion".
