Russian Federation to end U.S. space station rides in April, pressuring NASA

On August 30 morning, the crew taped over the hole, slowing the leak.

Thankfully, not much air was spewed into space, and the space station still has "weeks" of air in its reserves, according to a statement by the European Space Agency. Roscosmos' Soyuz commander Sergey Prokopyev repaired the leak using epoxy placed on a gauze wipe.

The small air leak detected on Wednesday afternoon on board the International Space Station (ISS) has been safely repaired, NASA announced yesterday, noting that the astronaut crew inhabiting the orbiting laboratory was never in any danger of depressurization or of running out of air.

A leak on the space station could come from a seal or valve failing, said John Crassidis, an aerospace engineer at the University at Buffalo.

The Soyuz MS-09 will not be used to bring back astronauts from the ISS, so any other damages to the spacecraft will not be endangering their lives.

This morning the crew gathered in the Russian segment of the Space Station before searching for the cause of the pressure change. Flight controllers in Houston are continuing to monitor station's cabin pressure in the wake of the fix.

Flight controllers are now looking into a more permanent patch.

"The crew is in no danger and is actively working troubleshooting procedures", the space agency said in a tweet. Orbital debris is a constant threat, even the tiniest specks.

Mission flight control officials are now closely monitoring the space station's system for additional warning signs.

The 2mm wide "micro fracture" in the £115 billion NASA satellite was discovered after crew noticed a drop in pressure.

The hole is located in the upper, spherical section of the Soyuz, which does not return to Earth, according to NASA.

The difficulty is in this game because West Ham are a good team with good players and a good coach. Arsenal didn't create too many chances during the game, we created double the chances as them".
