Coach McCarthy on Rodgers’ recovery from knee injury

Rodgers said he is feeling "a little better every day", but is "pretty sore".

This has pushed him out of practice on Wednesday that now has the potential to force him to miss Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has joked that he expects Rodgers to play on Sunday without any problems.

You'll notice that there is no firm commitment on either side, but by reading his body language it seems like the team wants to exercise caution while Rodgers will want to give it a go.

Receiver Davante Adams has a shoulder injury, and it's bad enough that he didn't practice on Wednesday. "But. two days is not going to make or break whether (we have) success, whether it's me and DeShone, me and Aaron, whoever it may be".

He described how he was cleared to play by the team doctor at halftime against the Bears so long as he could "deal with the pain".

However, for whatever reason, those talks fell through and Jorginho ended up signing for Chelsea instead. We're not going to suggest for a second that Jorginho is not happy as a Chelsea player.

Vikings safety Harrison Smith, fresh off an NFC North Player of the Week award, knows just how hard it is going up against Rodgers. "To be in this room, you've got to be mentally and physical tough".

Aaron Rodgers is not practicing again today, as the Green Bay Packers' star quarterback continues to recover from his knee injury.

Rodgers' status will be one to monitor once we get closer to Sunday's game.
