Avenatti said he had evidence that at multiple house parties in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge would target women using alcohol and drugs "in order to allow a "train" of men to subsequently gang rape them". She described gang rapes that she said occurred in which boys would line up to rape incapacitated girls.
Swetnick alleges that she has seen Kavanaugh drink heavily at various social gatherings, noting at least ten parties she attended whether both Kavanaugh and Judge were present.
In one statement, family friend Keith Koegler said he wrote to Ford in a June 29 email, "I remember you telling me about him, but I don't remember his name".
"I have never sexually assaulted anyone - not in high school, not in college, not ever", he continues.
Avenatti declined to expand on the allegation in an interview Wednesday on ABC's "The View", saying he would not add detail beyond what was in the statement. "I've never done any such thing, known about any such thing".
KTVU emailed Kavanaugh's attorneys on Wednesday and did not immediately hear back.
Kawhi Leonard says he’s focussed on leading Raptors to a championship
At one point when providing his description of himself, Leonard even burst out into laughter, which surprised basically everyone. We have a very talented team that I am looking forward to playing with them.
Trump lashed out at Avenatti on Twitter. "He is just looking for attention and doesn't want people to look at his past record and relationships - a total low-life!" "So the information that would have shown what she said at the very first time when she revealed these allegations, has not been turned over to the Senate", Wilkinson said. Judge was a high school classmate of Kavanaugh.
Hanging in the balance is Trump's chance to swing the high court more firmly to the right for a generation.
"There has been a frenzy to come up with something - anything, no matter how far-fetched or odious - that will block a vote on my nomination", Kavanaugh's testimony said. In a letter to the Judiciary panel, Kavanaugh said he was the victim of character assassination.
Shortly after Avenatti tweeted out the declaration, the Senate Judiciary Committee said it was in the process of reviewing it.
Avenatti sent the declaration to the Senate Judiciary Committee. "I think women are standing together in solidarity more so than we were in '91". KTVU has not had a chance to speak with Swetnick or vet her claims, other than reading her declaration.
Swetnick said Kavanaugh was present but did not accuse him of taking part.
Trump's tariffs on $200 bn of Chinese imports kick in
The latest tariffs and the threat didn't deter Beijing from launching retaliatory tariffs on American goods worth $60 billion. Trump earlier this month accused China of targeting rural voters who support his presidency by hitting agricultural goods.
CNN and the Associated Press have not yet been able to corroborate Swetnick's story.
In an interview with MS-NBC Thursday morning, Swetnick said Kavanaugh should not be confirmed as the next Supreme Court justice. He included emails he exchanged with Grassley's staff this week.
"The longer this nomination sits out there the more you're going to get reckless allegations that have no basis in fact", he said.
In a statement released by the White House, Kavanaugh said the allegations were "ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone". These four "witnesses" are declaring, under oath, that Ford told them about her accusations at some point in the past six years, not to any firsthand knowledge of any assault or any of the events Ford alleges.
Kavanaugh has repeatedly denied the allegation.
Ford and Kavanaugh are set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
UEFA to review Ronaldo red card
But, what can not be argued against is that the 33-year-old only has himself to blame for the mess he now finds himself in. That leaves them second in Group H behind Manchester United , who sit top after beating Young Boys 3-0 in Bern.
