Rick Scott wins first election lawsuit

Florida will hold recounts in its governor and senate races, the state's secretary of state has said.

In the governor's race between Republican Ron DeSantis and Democrat Andrew Gillum, the margin shrank from.52 percent to.44 percent Thursday, putting it in the range for an automatic machine recount.

After the machine recount results are delivered, Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner will order manual recounts if two candidates are separated by 0.25 percent of the vote or less.
