The trailer starts off in a subway auto, where Captain Marvel (Larson) is on the prowl for her enemy and looking through the aisles.

Captain Marvel's second trailer reveals more details about Carol Danvers' past. Oscar-winner Brie Larson plays the titular heroine - who was once Carol Danvers, an Air Force fighter pilot.

Fans of the comic book version of the character appear thrilled with the movie's storyline and origin story for the character, especially after the CAPTAIN MARVEL trailer 2 drop! And just like that, we get yet another succession shot of different ages of Carol Danvers rises up until her title character appears, charging up for an attack.

Kid Rock: Love Everybody, Except for ‘That Joy Behar B***h’
Kid Rock is no longer the grand marshal of the Nashville Christmas parade, which is scheduled to kick off tomorrow morning. The reaction was quick from the hosts, with Steve Doocy admonishing Rock and saying "You can not say that".

The action in the new trailer shows Captain Marvel in plenty of battle scenes and Larson says she trained for nearly a year to get in shape for the role.

She can be heard saying: "Your life began the day it almost ended". Captain Marvel is an utter badass who has saved the world innumerably and does so with a unique flair. Captain Marvel will also introduce the Kree-Skrull conflict to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So you could live longer, stronger, superior. Still, Marvel Studios has made bigger leaps with lesser known characters before - and Bening is a prestigious enough actor to accomodate with that kind of change. She said, "I'm not going to fight your war, I'm going to end it".

Carol sees herself as a Kree as much as a human, so the fact that she leaves Earth to defend the Kree Empire in the film should come as no surprise.
