Juventus interested in signing ‘great player’ Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal

Posted January 08, 2019

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has publicly ruled out a move away from the club in this transfer window but Calciomercato claims Juventus could offer a loan swap with Ramsey moving to Italy and Sami Khedira joining the Gunners for the rest of the season.

Arsenal may sanction an early departure for the Welshman should they be able to sign Morocco global Mehdi Benatia from the Italian champions, as report Gazetta dello Sport in Italy.

There are also hints that the Spanish manager will go all out for wingers and defenders as that is their major priority at the moment.

Sources have told ESPN FC that the decision last September to withdraw the contract offer, which had been on the table for eight months, was down to Emery believing that Ramsey did not, and could not, fit the profile of his ideal midfielder.

Saudi prosecutors seek death penalty as Khashoggi murder trial opens
The Saudi Public Prosecutor said Turkey has yet to respond to requests to release specific evidence in the case. Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post , was killed October 2 at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.

"I have been watching him and see he is concentrated".

The 28-year-old is out of contract in June and from January 1, the Welsh global has been able to negotiate with clubs and can sign a pre-contract.

Juventus are in talks to sign Ramsey on a free transfer in the summer when his contract at the Emirates Stadium expires.

Emery is very curious to strengthen Arsenal back-line.

Man City must pull everything out of the locker against Liverpool - Kompany
City will have to wait on the fitness of Kevin De Bruyne , who trained on Wednesday following a persistent knee problem. "We didn't win it but the ride there was unbelievable, the journey was unbelievable".

Ramsey joined from hometown club Cardiff as a youngster and has won three FA Cups in his time at the North London club.

"For now, he is an Arsenal player and we are not the only ones [interested]".

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia earlier in the week, Juve sporting direct Fabio Paratici confirmed the Old Lady's interest in the 28-year-old. If the transfer market can help us find a centre back, the possibility to bring them in is not easy because we also have [Kostantinos] Mavropanos coming back from injury.

A year ago it seemed likely that Ramsey would join Bayern Munich and in the past he's been linked with Roma. "Maybe we can sign one or two players, but it's not easy".
