Wide receiver Antonio Brown asks Steelers for trade

Posted February 13, 2019

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has made it pretty clear: He wants out of Pittsburgh.

Brown hinted at the news on Twitter Tuesday, writing, "Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years.time to move on and forward".

Since Brown is now under contract in Pittsburgh, the only chance of him leaving would be if the team chose to move on through a trade or release, which is why it seems likely the Steelers will look at potential teams expressing interest in the receiver.

United Kingdom horse racing suspended due to equine flu
It is a highly contagious respiratory infection, causing symptoms similar to a flu in humans and lasting for about a week. The alarm was raised on Wednesday night when three vaccinated horses at McCain's base were found to have equine influenza.

Brown's future with the franchise came into question during the final week of the regular season when the star wide receiver didn't show up to practice ahead of a must-win game for the Steelers. He paid a $426.77 fine.

Fitting Brown under the salary cap, if he were to stay on his current deal, would be possible for the Eagles.

It has also emerged Brown was hit with two lawsuits in October for an incident that allegedly occurred at his South Florida high-rise last April. However, his contract makes it unlikely that Brown would be traded.
