University of SC student Samantha Josephson's death was caused by "multiple sharp force injuries", law enforcement officials said Monday. They can not be everywhere all the time.

Josephson's body was found in Clarendon County, about 65 miles (105 kilometers) from Columbia, police said. They found the surveillance footage and released information on what Josephson had been wearing that night: black jeans, light shoes and an orange top.

Nathaniel David Rowland, 24, has been arrested on charges of murder and kidnapping in connection with Josephson's death, Holbrook said. Samantha is no longer with us, but she will not be forgotten. "She opened the door, got into it and departed with the suspect driving". "She simply mistakenly got into this auto thinking it was an Uber". Her roommates grew anxious the next morning. "Nothing mitigates the pain of the loss of a child but I have full faith & confidence in the men & women of the Columbia Police Department & SLED as they ably investigate this tragedy".

Josephson's boyfriend, Greg Corbishley said he saw a clear future with her and remembered their last conversation Thursday when she thanked him for letting her just be herself. "Skip" Holbrook told the media on Saturday, according to CNN.
