During an investors briefing, Disney officially revealed its new digital streaming service Disney+, due out on 12th November this year.
Disney+ will launch in the USA market on November 12, 2019, at $6.99 a month.
The service, called Disney Plus, has been in the works for more than year, but Thursday marked the first time that the longtime entertainment powerhouse has laid out plans for its attack on Netflix and a formidable cast of competitors, including Amazon, HBO Go and Showtime Anytime. And it certainly sounds like subscribers will get the bang for their buck - Disney+ will include offline viewing, the entire Signature Collection, behind-the-scenes documentaries, spinoff shows from the biggest franchises, and much more.
